Liverpool's Premier League title parade takes place this afternoon. Hundreds of thousands of Liverpool fans will be gathering in different spots across the region to celebrate the champions of England.
While the parade doesn't start until 2.30pm, the city centre is quickly becoming a sea of red. Local fans and those who are travelling into the city are making themselves heard and seen.
Thousands of fans have already gathered in anticipation of the parade, it is the club's 20th league title and their second Premier League title. Along Leeds Street and The Strand, fans have set up camp chairs and are preparing for the wait ahead.
In Liverpool ONE, a huge queue of Liverpool supporters are waiting to be served as the club shop kits people out in red attire for the upcoming parade. A video shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, shows hundreds of people waiting to buy merchandise, after the Reds were crowned 20 time champions.
Church Street is also packed out with thousands of fans as they make their way towards The Strand. In South Liverpool, where the parade will begin, supporters are standing on their doorsteps as the bus will pass their homes.
Flags are hanging from the windows of many houses and red bunting is a popular decoration of choice. Reporter Patrick Edrich is in Allerton this morning soaking up the atmosphere.
He said: "I’m down at Allerton Maze where in just under two-and-half hours Liverpool’s title winning parade will begin its 15km journey around the city to The Strand. Atmosphere building nicely here, lots of people, banners and music. Fingers crossed the weather will hold."

The parade comes after hundreds of Liverpool fans have took over the city centre yesterday evening after the Reds lifted the Premier League trophy. Anfield erupted as Virgil van Dijk lifted the trophy in front of fans.
The streets surrounding Anfield Stadium were packed out with supporters - and today will be no different. It is a weekend that no Liverpool fan will forget in a hurry.
The 15km (10-mile) parade is expected to last between three to five hours after starting at 2.30pm. The parade will begin at Allerton Maze and head north along Queens Drive, following a route similar to the one used in 2019.
