He spanned 10 innings, allowing just one run on seven hits with four walks and a team-high 13 strikeouts. Honorable mention to Trevor Megill, who was a perfect 3-for-3 in save opportunities, even if they may not have been the cleanest of outings.
### Top Hitting Performance of the Week
Rhys Hoskins continues to have a strong season, as he hit .292/.379/.625 with two homers, two doubles, four RBIs, and five runs scored. Honorable mention to Caleb Durbin, who had a team-high nine hits as he batted .346/.393/.462 with five RBIs, four runs, and three steals, including a game-tying double in Sunday’s series finale in Pittsburgh.
### Injury Notes & Roster Moves
* Brandon Woodruff was sent on another rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville after a setback in his way back from injury. He through 59 pitches over four scoreless frames on May 21 and is expected to make at least one more minor league appearance before returning to the majors.
* Ahead of Milwaukee’s series with the Pirates, the team made a flurry of moves. Right-hander Aaron Civale was activated from the 15-day injured list, and right-hander Carlos Rodriguez was recalled for bullpen depth. In corresponding moves, Joel Payamps was DFA’d, and Easton McGee was optioned to Nashville.
* The following day, left-hander Aaron Ashby was also activated from the 15-day injured list, with Rodriguez optioned back to Nashville after going 3 1⁄3 innings in relief and picking up the win Thursday night.
