The 2024-25 campaign was significant for Italian players abroad as many of them ended it with a trophy in their hands.
Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali was the first to lift a piece of silverware in England this season, beating Chiesa’s Liverpool in the EFL Cup Final in March.
Chiesa, a former Juventus and Fiorentina star, made only six Premier League appearances this campaign, one as a starter, but still enough to get a winners’ medal.
The Italian winger proudly lifted the Premier League trophy, joined by his family, after the season’s final game at Anfield on Sunday.
Vicario and Udogie had celebrated Tottenham’s Europa League victory with Spurs fans in London on Saturday, while Tonali rejoiced for Newcastle’s qualification for the Champions League, receiving praise from his compatriot Vicario, who commented on Tonali’s latest Instagram post: ‘Well done, my friend.’
