City at a standstill as hundreds of thousands line the streets for trophy parade

Hundreds of thousands of Liverpool fans have packed out the city centre as the club continue their Premier League victory celebrations with a parade.

Supporters have taken up every available vantage point along the 15km open-top bus route which will culminate on The Strand near to the city's famous Liver Building.

The celebrations on Monday 26th May to mark the club's 20th English title win, could close a million supporters turn out. The Reds clinched the victory after beating Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield last month.
