The star in question here is Christopher Nkunku. The 27 year old has found it hard to play regularly under Enzo Maresca. As a result, he wanted to leave in January but no agreement was reached. It is said to change now as the Blues are ready to cash-in on him.
According to Fichajes, Spurs are keen to sign Nkunku this summer. They are plotting an initial offer to sign the 27 year old on loan with an option to buy for €45 million. It will now depend on Chelsea on wheter they are open to let the Frenchman leave on loan.
Nkunku can bring in much needed creativity at North London. Spurs have been overly dependent on Kulusevski. In addition, James Maddison has not been very consistent. Lastly, Son is now heading towards the end of his career.
Nkunku can be open to join Spurs as it will help him to play regularly. In addition, they will now be able to offer him UCL football. Hence, the 27 year old can be tempted to prove himself on the top level as he has not been able to justify moving to England so far.
