Large crowds are lining the streets as Liverpool FC celebrates their historic Premier League winning season with an open-top bus parade through the city.
Arne Slot and his team will roam the city, allowing fans to mark the club capturing its 20th English league title, with no other English club having won more.
The parade is scheduled to get underway at 2.30pm and is expected to last between three and five hours, beginning at Allerton Maze and travelling northbound on Queens Drive, continuing through key areas of the city.
The weather in Liverpool started cloudy before light rain fell around lunchtime, this follows relatively sunny weather across the UK in recent weeks.

The Met Office predicted a "marked change" in conditions ahead of the bank holiday though the rain is unlikely to dampen the spirits of Liverpool fans who get caught in it.
The weather agency forecasts a 90% chance of rain at 2pm which is likely to continue, if sporadically, until 9pm this evening.

Islington
Leeds Street
The Strand
Finishing at Blundell Street

The Met Office forecasts a minimum of 80% chance of rain, hour-by-hour, from 2pm up until 9pm when it finally downgrades the chances of precipitation to 60%, then 50% for 10pm.
The parade route is 15km long and the advice is to use the length of the route. There are no dedicated viewing areas but there will be animation across the route this year
The occasion has brought about several Merseyrail station closures and changes to public transport services.

In Liverpool city centre, James Street and Lime Street low level stations will be closed all day
On the Northern line, Bank Hall, Walton, and Cressington stations will be closed all day
On the Wirral line, Capenhurst, Bromborough Rake, and Green Lane will be closed all day
If travelling on the Northern line, customers will need to use Moorfields station to board or alight services in Liverpool city centre
