The parade bus has set off!
The moment Liverpool fans have been waiting for is finally here. The Liverpool FC players are on the bus as they start their Premier League trophy parade through Liverpool.
Hundreds of thousands of fans have put on a huge display on passion for the club by creating billows of red smoke and lining streets from early this morning. Horns, flags and flares have all been used by fans to celebrate what is a monumental occasion for both club and fans.
The parade made its way through Allerton Maze, before heading north along Queens Drive towards the Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover.
From there the bus will make its way through the 10-mile route before heading into the city centre. Two of the last areas on the route are expected to be the busiest, Leeds Street and The Strand. The route will then finish at Blundell Street.
A video taken by ECHO reporter Paul Gorst showed the players getting on the parade bus this afternoon, in high spirits. All players are wearing their Premier League winners medals. Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk held the Premier League trophy in his hands as he joined the other players.
