Nelson Semedo has taken to Instagram this afternoon to update fans on his current situation, amid speculation he’ll soon be leaving as a free agent.
Nelson Semedo is one of a few players who are out of contract this summer.
Speculation has been rife about his future over the last few weeks, and last week some interesting things happened.
"It’s an honour to represent this club and lead this club as a captain. It’s a dream come true for me and I have to thank everyone who believed in me.”

A picture did the rounds on social media showing a removal van at Semedo’s residence, suggesting that he will be on the move.
One outlet in Portugal reported that this did not mean Semedo was heading to Benfica.
Semedo was also spotted at Molineux filming a goodbye video, but it has since been suggested this was done just in case – he had not made a decision on his future at that point.
And it seems as though he still hasn’t made a decision, given what Semedo has just said on Instagram.

Semedo was serenaded by Wolves fans at Molineux on Sunday after the draw with Brentford.
That appeared to indicate that Semedo would be leaving the club, as did the interview he gave to the club’s media team where he could barely hold himself together.
But Semedo has just posted on Instagram to say no decision has been taken yet.
He wrote: “Just want to thank you all for yesterday and for all your support during this season.
“It was a season with highs and lows, tough periods and great moments as well and that wouldn’t be impossible without you guys supporting us during the year. We accomplished the main objective for this season but we have to set our ambitions as a club and go fight for them cause trust me, all together we can do it.
“Time to rest, think and take a big decision with my family. I Love you
“Wolves ay we.”
Semedo’s post is surprising
It’s interesting to see that Semedo still hasn’t decided his next move.
Everything has pointed to him leaving, but perhaps there is still an outside chance that he stays. Perhaps he’d been swaying towards leaving, but the outpouring of affection for him on Sunday means he’s having trouble making a decision.
It would be a huge boost if he ended up staying put after his exit had looked extremely likely.
Ultimately, Semedo is still at the top of his game and he’s had a pretty good past couple of seasons for Wolves.
We know Vitor Pereira really wants Semedo to stay, so we’ll see if the manager gets his wish.
