The Strand has turned into a sea of red as Liverpool FC crowds gather for the parade. Thousands of fans have lined the streets near the waterfront as the Reds celebrate their Premier League triumph with an open-top bus parade through the city.

Pictures from the major thoroughfare show flares turning the air red and people decked out in their club's colours. Flags, scarves and signs have also turned the Strand into a sea of red.

The parade is now underway and is expected to last between three to five hours, though timings may vary. It began at Allerton Maze and will then head north along Queens Drive, following a route similar to the one used in 2019.

The route is set to end at Blundell Street. The parade comes after hundreds of Liverpool fans have took over the city centre yesterday evening after the Reds lifted the Premier League trophy. Anfield erupted as Virgil van Dijk lifted the trophy in front of fans.

The Liverpool ECHO will be live-blogging the entire parade, capturing every moment as the team tours the city.

Reporters and photographers will be stationed along the route, sharing updates, videos, and photos of Liverpool players, fans, and the unforgettable atmosphere.
