Forgotten Kyogo Furuhashi has broken his silence after a dismal end to the campaign at Stade Rennes following his Celtic exit.
The 30-year-old has endured a nightmare spell in Ligue 1 after this £10million move away from the Scottish Premiership champions.
He's failed to register a goal for his new club and struggled to even make the matchday squad in the final weeks of the season - with boss Habib Beye already teasing crunch talks with the frontman.
Reports in France suggest the frontman could be moved on in a cut-price deal this summer, but the man himself is enjoying his summer break back in Japan.
He was spotted in the stands for V-Varen Nagasaki's clash with Ehime FC - as he caught up with former Vissel Kobe teammate Hotaru Yamaguchi.
Speaking to Japanese outlet[*Excite*](https://30歳日本代表FW、海外シーズン終了で長崎に駆け付けたワケ ... Excite エキサイト https://www.excite.co.jp › article), he hinted his focus remained on Rennes: "I was happy to get to meet someone I wanted to see while on the off-season and I was looking forward to seeing him play.

"I'll do my best, too, when I am back playing in pre-season."
Telstar forward Youssef El Kachati has also reportedly been Celtic with a view to signing him in the summer.
And the Hoops could face a battle for the attacker with Hannover 96 and Hamburg also said to be in the running for a deal.
Neue Presse report that the Dutch second tier side are demanding €3million (£2.5million) for the Moroccan this summer.

Speculation over the future of Danny Ings has also ramped up with his West Ham contract set to expire - with former Liverpool star Didi Hamman previously touting the England cap with a Brendan Rodgers' reunion in Glasgow.
He told PokerFirma last month: "Could Danny Ings be a success at Celtic? Absolutely. His playing time at West Ham has been restricted and I think Celtic would be a great option for him.
"The standard of football is not quite as high as the Premier League and I think he could get a new lease of life up there.
"He will certainly be on the radar of Celtic and maybe Rangers because he has a proven record of putting the ball into the net. If you make chances for him he will show you where the goal is for sure."

However, Wrexham Insider report that the Welsh club are ready to make an offer for the free agent if the 32-year-old would consider dropping to the English Championship next term.
