Everton have more players out of contract in the coming weeks that they will need to make decisions on, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Abdoulaye Doucoure has already confirmed that he will be leaving alongside the likes of Ashley Young, but others such as Idrissa Gana Gueye are in fresh talks.
Calvert-Lewin has been a long-serving attacker at Everton, but his importance to the team has waned in recent years, and he has struggled to find his best form and fitness.
The 28-year-old has been linked with several clubs as his deal expires, and Everton must now take this opportunity to move on from the striker.

Calvert-Lewin bottom of the Premier League
Calvert-Lewin had a poor season as he netted just three goals in 26 games, Beto proving himself to be more reliable under David Moyes.

His lack of goals is not necessarily due to a lack of service, with Beto managing to score 12 in all competitions this season.
Calvert Lewin’s three strikes came from 6.5 expected goals, and this underperformance was second only to Manchester City star Savinho in the entire Premier League.

Calvert-Lewin’s stats this season
The Athletic have now revealed that over the last six years, Calvert-Lewin is the biggest underperformer in the entire Premier League when it comes to his finishing.
It has been shared that Calvert-Lewin has completed his sixth season underperforming his xG, with no player in that time having a worse record than his 17.2 goals below expectation.

Everton must move on from Calvert-Lewin
Everton are yet to confirm if they will keep Calvert-Lewin or let him go, but now is the perfect time for them to part ways.
The striker is one of Everton’s highest earners, but should not be near the starting XI next season, with the Toffees also linked with fresh attackers, including Liam Delap.
Getting Calvert-Lewin off the wage bill and replacing him would significantly boost Everton’s firepower next season, and would also suit them financially if his replacement is on a lower salary.
The 28-year-old has flattered to deceive at times in the past few seasons, and clearly his finishing leaves a lot to be desired, and a clean break for all parties would be the best move.
It’s time to move on as the Toffees enter their new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
