Huge crowds have taken over the streets of the city as Liverpool FC celebrates their Premier League triumph with an open-top bus parade. The ECHO spotted the Liverpool squad arriving to make their way onto the red celebratory bus, ahead of an incredible journey through the city.
The parade comes after hundreds of Liverpool fans took over the city centre yesterday evening after the Reds lifted the Premier League trophy. Anfield erupted as Virgil van Dijk lifted the trophy in front of fans.
But it was an emotional game for Trent Alexander-Arnold. It was confirmed earlier this month he will leave the Reds and is expected to join Real Madrid.
The Liverpool defender was spotted getting off the coach earlier today as the team made their way onto the red parade bus. He is wearing a full black hooded tracksuit and a baseball cap, finished off with a gold medal around his neck.

He was spotted alongside his teammates singing and filming the crowds as the bus got closer and closer to the city this afternoon. In a matter of hours, the team will be in the thick of it in the city centre.
Today, thousands of Liverpool fans have taken over the streets to experience the Premier League parade. The 10-mile trip has been lined every step of the way by fans in red.
The buses set off at around 2pm and the squad was joined by DJ Calvin Harris. Crowds erupted as the players sang and danced along to 'One Kiss', as the bus made its way through the streets via a sea of Red fans. The song is a favourite among fans of the club and has been sang in several finals and big games.
Yesterday, Alexander-Arnold took to social media to celebrate the emotional win. He shared a selection of snaps from the celebrations at Anfield, as he captioned the post: "Fairytale ending" with a red love heart emoji.
Fans rushed to the comments to wish him good luck on his next chapter. One said: "Cried my eyes out, just so proud of you. Onto a new chapter." A second added: "Thank you for everything, Arnold; all the best in Madrid."
