Will Compton, former NFL linebacker, is in the news again for not-so-great reasons. Compton and OutKick founder, Clay Travis, have been involved in an online feud over a Brittney Griner video. It all started when Compton commented on a video shared on X, which shows WNBA Atlanta Dream’s Brittney Griner calling Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark a racial slur.
Compton commented that Griner’s comments on Caitlin Clark may be fitting for someone like Clay Travis. Travis, of course, didn’t have to do much since many people were already roasting Compton in the comments section of the post. Compton, however, did not seem to have a proper comeback for Travis and instead chose to fart on a video.
“You’re getting smoked in the comments by your own audience. Put down the alcohol and come back tomorrow with a better effort. One that doesn’t defend a racist WNBA player that’s lucky she isn’t still in a Russian prison,” Clay Travis said to Will Compton, when the retired linebacker taunted him.

After his retirement from the NFL, Will Compton is busy co-hosting his podcast ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’, along with former offensive tackle, Taylor Lewan. Compton played in the league from 2013 to 2021 for various teams. He spent the majority of his time in the NFL with the Washington Redskins, with whom he signed back in 2013. Before playing for Washington, Compton played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Will Compton’s Former Team, Washington, To Open Season With NY
On another note, Will Compton’s former team, the Washington Commanders, will be locking horns with the New York Giants to open their NFL season. Before taking on the Giants, Washington will be getting their heart rates up with two preseason games against the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals. After clashing with the Giants, the Commanders will move on to the Green Bay Packers for their second game of the season.

The Commanders will definitely try to improve from their record in the previous NFL season, when they finished second in the NFC East with 12 wins and five defeats. Washington made it to the NFC Championships to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, but lost abysmally with a final score of 55-23.
