One of the Premier League’s leading clubs have positioned themselves in the fray for the signature of Barcelona star Ansu Fati.
That’s according to Barca insider Helena Condis of COPE, who points towards Chelsea as the outfit in question.
The name of attacker Ansu has of course emerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines across Spain over the course of recent days.
This come with the 22-year-old, fresh off a hugely underwhelming campaign back on the books of Barcelona, having been heavily linked with an imminent exit.
French outfit AS Monaco, for one, are understood to be pushing hard for Ansu’s services.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, then Monaco are not the only club of note keen on the Spaniard’s signing.
As per the aforementioned Helena Condis:
‘In the next few hours, Jorge Mendes will meet with Ansu Fati, whose future is far from Barcelona. In addition to Monaco’s offer, he also has Chelsea.’
No further information is provided regarding the interest of the Blues.
