Manchester United’s turbulent season finally came to a close last Sunday with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Despite the victory, the Red Devils ended the Premier League campaign in 15th place, their worst league finish in club history.
All focus now shifts to the future – and it promises to be a busy one.
Fans are already turning attention to the transfer window, with Matheus Cunha’s arrival from Wolves expected to be finalised in the coming days.
But before the 2025/26 season kicks off, United will first travel the globe.
Manchester United’s official club website has confirmed details of Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon, with seven fixtures taking place across Asia, Europe, the USA, and Manchester itself.
The summer campaign begins post-season – a rarity in modern times – with a trip to Asia.
28 May – v ASEAN All Stars (Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil Stadium) – 8.45pm local time
United’s return to the Malaysian capital will mark their first game in the city since 2009, at the 84,000-capacity Bukit Jalil, one of Asia’s most iconic stadiums.
30 May – v Hong Kong, China (Hong Kong Stadium) – 8pm local time
The Reds will then face a Hong Kong XI in Causeway Bay, at a stadium known for hosting both international football and major rugby events. This will be United’s first appearance in the region since 2013.
After a brief summer break, pre-season resumes in Europe.
19 July – v Leeds United (Stockholm, Strawberry Arena) – 3pm local time
The newly promoted Leeds side will provide the opposition in Sweden, at the same stadium where United famously won the Europa League final in 2017.
Tour 2025 will then head to the United States for three matches as part of the Premier League Summer Series.
26 July – v West Ham (New Jersey, MetLife Stadium) – 7pm local time
United return to New Jersey where they faced Arsenal last year. This time, MetLife will host a showdown with West Ham.
30 July – v Bournemouth (Chicago, Soldier Field) – 8.30pm local time
In Chicago, United will play at Soldier Field, the 100-year-old stadium that remains one of the most historic in American sport.
3 August – v Everton (Atlanta, Mercedes-Benz Stadium) – 5pm local time
United’s first-ever appearance in Atlanta comes against Everton, at the futuristic Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which opened in 2017.
And finally, Manchester United’s official website has revealed that the seven-game tour will conclude with a fixture on home soil.
9 August – v Fiorentina (Old Trafford, Snapdragon Cup)
A glamour tie with the Italian side will bring the curtain down on Tour 2025, as United return to Old Trafford just days before the new season begins.
Tickets and alerts are now available via the club’s website, with further updates to be announced over the coming weeks.
