Dominik Szoboszlai had his Liverpool team-mates in hysterics as he was interviewed during the Reds' open top bus parade through the city. Arne Slot's side were officially presented with the Premier League trophy after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Celebrating wildly with supporters around Anfield, the celebrations continued into Bank Holiday Monday as Liverpool embarked on an open top bus parade through the city.

During the tour, Kostas Tsimikas interviewed team-mates Curtis Jones and Szoboszlai on behalf of LFC TV as he asked both midfielders what it meant to them to win the Premier League and see the support on the city streets during the parade.

Szoboszlai initially responded with a bold predication, sharing his hope to be celebrating with an open top bus parade again this time next season.

But he then left Jones and Tsimikas in fits of laughter as he jokingly told club media to leave them alone to celebrate!

"No, you ask the questions," he told Tsimikas. "I’m feeling very, very good. Very, very good, yeah. Hopefully next year the same!"

After Jones then answered the same question, Szoboszlai reclaimed the microphone and declared: "And now leave us alone, we’re going to party!"

Szoboszlai has now won two trophies since joining Liverpool in a £60m deal from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023, having lifted the League Cup in his first season at the club.

After clinching the Premier League title, the 24-year-old has now won five league titles in his senior career to date after his time with Red Bull Salzburg.

The Hungarian has been one of Slot's most important players, returning eight goals and eight assists from 49 appearances in all competitions.
