Celebrations continued as Liverpool took home the Premier League title last night. Crowds erupted at Anfield as Virgil van Dijk lifted the trophy in front of fans.

Today, thousands of Liverpool fans have taken over the streets to experience the Premier League parade. The Liverpool squad set off at 2.30pm for a 10-mile trip around the city.

Arne Slot is also on the red parade bus alongside his team. The Dutchman succeeded Jurgen Klopp in the Anfield hot seat last year, and led his side to the Premier League title in his first season in charge.

He was spotted dancing and cheering on top of the bus as the team was covered in red smoke and immersed themselves in the incredible atmosphere. In a matter of hours, the team will be in the thick of it in the city centre.

It did not take long for supporters to start chanting 'Campione, Campione!', much to the delight of Slot. A beaming Slot then wasted no time in urging the gathered fans to increase the volume, and he was seen gesturing for them to chant even louder.

Slot took a selfie with the crowds, and the Official LFC account shared his iconic snap with the caption: "Our gaffer." Other fans took to social media to congratulate the Dutch manager after watching him take in all the glory.

Taking to X, one said: Many congratulations to @LFC winning the premiership & in Arne Slot's first season, as manager. Absolutely fantastic achievement !!!"

Another wrote: "What a brilliant season it has been. One that has surpassed my expectations tenfold. Arne Slot took over from such a legendary figure in Jurgen Klopp and then winning the Premier League in his first season. What a man and I hope he stays with us for a long time to come."

Fans and players are in high spirits today; the players are on the bus with their Premier League medals as the show off the trophy to fans. The route has been lined every step of the way by fans in red.

The squad set off at 2.30pm and there is not an inch of pavement to be seen in some parts of Liverpool as fans await the champions. Leeds Street and The Strand are towards the end of the route, but fans have been gathering there since around 8am onwards.

The squad was joined by DJ Calvin Harris. Crowds erupted as the players sang and danced along to 'One Kiss', as the bus made its way through the streets via a sea of Red fans. The song is a favourite among fans of the club and has been sung in several finals and big games.
