Ansu Fati appears to be heading towards the exit door at Barcelona following a frustrating season under Hansi Flick.
The forward has seemed to be closing in on a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco, although a deal has not yet been finalised.
According to COPE, Ansu also has interest from Premier League side Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fati has already enjoyed one spell in the Premier League with Brighton and it seems he could be offered another chance in the English top flight.
It’s not clear where he would prefer to play his football next season, but it had previously been reported that he had given the green light to a move to Monaco.
Flick has been asked about Fati’s future but insisted the next step was down to the player.
“It’s not my decision; he has a contract, and he’ll make the decision,” he told reporters before the Athletic Club win. “Whenever he wants to talk to me, we’ll talk, but he decides.”
Mendes is thought to be in Barca to discuss Lamine Yamal’s contract renewal but Fati’s future also needs to be resolved.
