The city of Liverpool was brought to a standstill on Bank Holiday Monday as football fans painted the town red.
Arne Slot's side strolled their way to their second Premier League title in five seasons during the Dutchman's first season at the helm. And after closing the book against Crystal Palace on Sunday, it was time to celebrate on Merseyside.
Hundreds of thousands of fans made the journey to the streets of the city to try and catch a glimpse of the Premier League trophy today.
Earlier, photos emerged on social media of football fans stuck at Liverpool Lime Street, Birmingham New Street, Preston and Crewe as overcrowded trains and not enough staff left fans stranded. While the M62 was gridlocked.
Ahead of the parade Merseyside Police expressed concerns about the potential for pyrotechnic-related injuries - urging fans to ditch the red flares, with the photos below showing these orders were ignored.
However, spirts weren't dampened, even as the rain started to fall, and fans waved their heroes along the route which kicked off at Allerton Maze and headed north on Queens Drive towards the Childwall Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover.
The bus then continued along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand before wrapping up at Blundell Street.
