Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez finished the Premier League season strongly, but he could still be replaced in the summer.
Sanchez kept clean sheets in Chelsea‘s final two games of the campaign, including in Sunday’s win against Nottingham Forest.
However, the 27-year-old has had a very inconsistent season. Danny Murphy thinks Enzo Maresca is to blame for some of Sanchez’s struggles, and it looks like the Italian could be about to get a new goalkeeper.
Chelsea have been linked with several shot-stoppers, such as Santos’ Gabriel Brazao and AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.

Mike Maignan Chelsea’s ‘absolute priority’ for goalkeeper position
Chelsea have reportedly enquired about Maignan already, and their interest in him could become more serious following the club’s qualification for the Champions League.
Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that if the Blues feel that they can obtain the 29-year-old this summer, then he will become their “absolute priority”.
Maignan is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract, so he may very well find himself on the market.
In fact, it has already been claimed that Maignan could cost just £34m when the transfer window opens.

The Frenchman has been one of the top shot-stoppers in Europe for a while now, so Chelsea could be about to get a real bargain.
Maignan kept 13 clean sheets in Serie A this season, showing how solid he can be in goal. However, the Milan star was only able to keep one in Europe’s elite competition.

Chelsea’s other goalkeeper targets
Maignan and Brazao are not the only goalkeepers currently being linked to Stamford Bridge.
According to Phillips, Chelsea also have Lille’s Lucas Chevalier and Espanyol’s Joan Garcia on their radar.
The Blues still have Filip Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic and Mike Penders on their books as well, so they are all potential options to replace Sanchez between the sticks.
In Chelsea’s ideal world, though, it looks like they would prefer to have Maignan in goal. The France international, then, is certainly a name to keep an eye on during the transfer window.
