Aaron Rodgers absolutely blasts New Orleans Saints

Aaron Rodgers is still undecided on whether he’ll hang up his cleats and call it a career or suit up for at least one more season. As he remains unsigned, Rodgers has been linked to three teams: the Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, and New Orleans Saints.

However, Rodgers has completely ruled out one of those franchises as a viable destination at this point in his career.

“Aaron Rodgers was asked at an event this weekend whether he would ever consider playing for the Bears and, in turn, might have provided a hint of his plans for the 2025 season. (The Steelers do play in Chicago),” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter then followed up on his initial report.

“At this same appearance, Aaron Rodgers was asked if he’d ever consider playing for the Saints. His response: ‘No. That’s the answer. No. I’ve played there a couple of times but no. The answer is no. I’m too old, I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry.’”

Fans reacted to Rodgers’ words on social media.

“Why is everyone acting like signing this dude would be this big prize? This guy sucked last year,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Too old, (for football) period. That was a polite response to say ‘hell no I’m not playing for the Saints,’” another fan added.

“Just retire man. Dude doesn’t want to play football,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Rodgers plays at all in the 2025 season.
