Ruben Amorim warned ‘fantastic’ Man Utd ace’s actions ‘could breed right through’ dressing room, he’s told what he must …

TNT Sports pundit Peter Crouch has now dropped his clear-cut feelings on one key first-team Manchester United player under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim has now seen out Manchester United’s turbulent 2024-25 campaign at Old Trafford after he replaced Erik ten Hag at the Premier League club.

United faced Aston Villa in the Premier League on the final day of the league season and the Red Devils came out on top at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

Amad Diallo netted the opener in the second half before Christian Eriksen slammed home a penalty and sealed a 2-0 win for United over Villa on the weekend.

Amorim is now looking ahead to United’s post-season tour, pre-season campaign and summer transfer window after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign for the club.

The 40-year-old United manager will be without European football for the 2025-26 season after the Red Devils’ abysmal 15th-place finish in the Premier League table.

Amorim’s men also missed out on a route back to the Champions League for next season after United’s 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Tottenham last Wednesday.

Brennan Johnson broke the deadlock in the first half of the 2025 Europa League final and his strike was the difference-maker between United and Tottenham.

Peter Crouch reacts to what Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho did after Ruben Amorim’s men lost the 2025 Europa League final

Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench in Manchester United’s Europa League encounter with Tottenham and replaced Mason Mount in the second half.

The 20-year-old United winger grabbed the headlines after the 1-0 defeat in Bilbao following Alejandro Garnacho’s criticism over not starting the Europa League final for his side.

Garnacho was subsequently left out of the United squad for Sunday’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League and his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.

According to The Athletic, United manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly told Garnacho that he will be allowed to leave the Premier League club in the summer.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Peter Crouch has suggested that Garnacho’s days at Old Trafford are now numbered after his post-Europa League final interview.

“I just think the minute he came out and gave that interview after the game, completely undermining the manager, the writing was definitely on the wall,” he said.

“You can’t speak about a Manchester United manager like that, especially someone who is trying to find his feet as well, trying to get the fans on his side, you come out and kind of give the manager a bit of grief, questioning his thoughts and opinions on picking the team.”

Peter Crouch now sends an important message to Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim about Alejandro Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with Chelsea and Napoli in recent months and the Spain-born attacker is under contract with United until 2028.

Crouch has admitted that Garnacho has “let” himself “down” at United and Amorim should look to offload the Argentina international in the summer transfer window.

“That, for me, is completely undermining the manager, and the manager has to then show his authority,” he continued.

“If you don’t deal with that early, that could breed right through the dressing room, and other players then come out and say, ‘Oh, I can talk about my situation.’ Not good at all.

“He is a fantastic young player, but those comments let him down, and he has to be moved.”

Garnacho has featured in 58 matches in all competitions in the 2024-25 campaign and the Argentina and United winger has netted 11 times and registered 10 assists.
