Manchester United will accelerate their summer transfer plans after the conclusion of the Premier League season. United confirmed a 15th-place finish in the top-flight after a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at the weekend.
Ruben Amorim will remain as United head coach and will be given the opportunity to mould the first-team squad into his vision this summer. It is understood United will target players with Premier League experience as Amorim tries to improve the athleticism of his first-team squad with those who are already proven in the division.
