It was his defensive partner who took all the headlines though. Levi Colwill scored the only goal of the game to send the Blues to a top four finish.

The youngster was described as ‘phenomenal’ by Polish media recently after taking part in a rare Conference League outing, however the win over Forest was the showcase of how far he has come.
The performance saw him acknowledged by WhoScored, with the England international being named in their statistical team of the week for the final round of Premier League fixtures.

Colwill getting closer to Chelsea dream
Something that was notable about Colwill’s performance was the fact that he showed immense leadership at the back.
This is despite him being just 22 years of age, although that is par for the course in the youngest Premier League team in history.
It is a dream for Colwill to captain Chelsea, with him being one of the core of players who came through the academy at Cobham to become a first team star.
Reece James looks set for a prolonged career at the club, and currently takes the armband when fit. However, Colwill will certainly be a candidate to take the role if he suffers anymore injury woes.
