NBA Teams 'Lining Up' to Strike Blockbuster Trade for $175 Million 9-Time All-Star

The Milwaukee Bucks will have some decisions to make this offseason if they're looking to make a big step in their franchise. After being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for three straight seasons, the Bucks have failed to get back to the NBA Finals after their championship win in 2021. They've made moves such as trading for Damian Lillard, but it hasn't translated to postseason wins so far.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the main player on the Bucks that everyone is talking about, and they think that he may request a trade. Antetokounmpo has three years, $175 million left on his contract, and teams would not hesitate to trade for the 30-year-old star.

Though the Bucks or Antetokounmpo have not mentioned anything about a trade, teams are keeping an eye out on the possibility, according to The Stein Line.

"It remains unclear, furthermore, if he ultimately will or he won't (request a trade). The only certainty to emerge in the 27 days since the Bucks last played a game: Teams are quietly lining up to make trade pitches for the 30-year-old if he becomes available ... without waiting to see if they land on the widely anticipated list of preferred destinations that Antetokounmpo would be expected to furnish if he indeed reaches that point," The Stein Line wrote.

There's no surprise that teams will be trying to put their best offer in place to land a talent such as Antetokounmpo, and it's obvious that he can make any team a playoff contender. As the offseason continues, it will be interesting to see what the Bucks plan on doing.
