Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong continues to be heavily linked with a move to Liverpool
Jeremie Frimpong has made his feelings clear on Liverpool, judging by his latest social media activity.
The Dutch player is currently recuperating after a demanding Bundesliga season, while his international teammates Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch have been celebrating their Premier League title win with the Reds.
Liverpool are nearing a deal to sign Frimpong in a move that would strengthen their right-side options ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure.
It is anticipated that the Reds will activate the Dutchman's £30million release clause, potentially kick-starting a busy summer at Anfield as they aim to bolster their squad for next season's title defence.
Frimpong has spent the start of his off-season break in Boston, Massachusetts, keeping busy with activities involving sponsors, including New Balance.
The 24-year-old has also liked a recent update from Liverpool on Instagram that shows his compatriots Van Dijk, Gakpo, and Gravenberch holding the Premier League trophy at Anfield on Sunday.

Earlier last week, Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes strongly suggested that Frimpong, who they signed from Celtic in 2021, was Liverpool-bound. "It's no secret that he has a prospect clause and there's interest, perhaps from England, perhaps even from Liverpool," Rolfes hinted to BILD.
"We'll see what happens. It's quite possible that Jerry will leave in the summer. Even then, it's not final. "But I'm already informed about things, we're all informed, so it could happen - let's wait and see."
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has been more tight-lipped. Asked if he could confirm whether Frimpong had undergone a medical following last week's 3-2 loss at Brighton, the Dutchman said: "What do you think?
"I think what we all know is the moment we announce it, that is the moment to talk about it in general. We haven’t announced anything so no need to talk about anyone."
