The Pacers stood on the brink of a commanding 3-0 lead in their best-of-seven series, but the Knicks rallied from a 20-point deficit in the second half of Game 3 to get on the board and close the series gap to 2-1. Center Karl-Anthony Towns played a key role in the comeback effort with teammate Jalen Brunson in foul trouble, scoring 20 points in the fourth frame after scoring four points in the first three quarters combined. Towns finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds and got a boost from Brunson, who finished with 23 points and knocked down all 10 of his free throw attempts, in the pivotal fourth-quarter comeback.
