A car has reportedly ploughed through crowds of celebrating Liverpool fans, including children, with multiple reports cited on X.
Multiple reports of the incident have emerged on social media, with one clip showing a black car driving into a crowd of people. The video, taken from a building overlooking the road, shows an individual bouncing off the speeding car.
There is currently a large police presence around Water Street and Dale Street in Liverpool, with pictures showing a number of ambulances. Hundreds of thousands of Liverpool fans had been in the city today to watch the football club's victory parade.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are currently dealing with reports of a road traffic collision in Liverpool city centre.

"We were contacted at just after 6pm today, Monday 26 May, following reports a car had been in collision with a number of pedestrians on Water Street. The car stopped at the scene and a male has been detained.
"Emergency services are currently on the scene. We will issue more updates as we have them."
One clip from X shows police officers encircling a car, while an angry mob understood to be Liverpool fans are held back. One man is restrained by an officer as he appears to try and throw a punch in the direction of the surrounded vehicle.
At least one person has been seen being carried on a stretcher by emergency services. The person, wearing red shoes, was also seen to be covered in a white blanket. It is unclear what condition the person is in.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "NWAS is supporting an incident in Liverpool city centre, following reports of a road traffic collision.
"We are currently assessing the situation and working with other members of the emergency services. Our priority is to ensure people receive the medical help they need as quickly as possible.
"Updates will be published on this page and Mersey Police as we know more."
An eyewitness shared a video showing the aftermath of the crash. Police could be seen swarming the vehicle and keeping members of the crowd away.
A caption under the video said: "Some maniac just ran everyone over. People stuck under the car got absolutely battered. Car doors ripped off."
A spokesperson for Liverpool City Council said in a statement shared to X/Twitter: "We are currently liaising with Merseyside Police regarding an incident on Water Street in the city centre. Updates to follow."
