The final day of the 2024-25 Serie A season has come and gone and Juventus, somehow, were able to get the win they needed to secure fourth place and Champions League qualification.
It is something that a club like Juventus and one that spent in the neighborhood of €200 million during the summer of 2024 shouldn’t be settling for, but that’s just what this season has provided: a handful of ups, many more downs, and plenty of frustrating moments along the way.
But on the final day of the season, Juventus did the only goal they had left — they secured Champions League football for next year. It wasn’t the easiest of games against a Venezia team that was fighting for their life in Serie A and ended up getting relegated with the loss. Like the season on the whole, there were peaks and valleys and just about everything in between.
After Manuel Locatelli sunk his first-ever penalty attempt as a Juventus player, the Bianconeri were able to hold on and secure the win they needed and finished the season in fourth place.
What a day. What a freakin’ day.
