TFG must break the bank to land £50m PL winger to replace Jack Harrison, he loves Everton fans…

Everton have made their decision not to sign Jack Harrison following his latest loan spell on Merseyside.

The Toffees are showing considerable progression under David Moyes after ending the 2024/25 season with three points away to Newcastle United.

Things are really starting to look up for Everton, but a seriously important summer awaits the Blues.

Everton will have significant money to spend this summer in the transfer market and they will need to spend wisely.

On Monday, the Toffees confirmed four departures with Harrison, Orel Mangala, Jesper Lindstrom and Armando Broja all returning to their parent clubs.

Quantity and quality is going to be needed in the summer window ahead of the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

But it has now become obvious who Everton should approach to replace Harrison this summer.

However, the Toffees are going to need to find some new wingers to replace Harrison and Lindstrom.

The Friedkins are looking to make a statement signing this summer having been strongly linked with a move for Richarlison.

If the new Everton owners mean business then they should go all in for Mbeumo who is receiving interest from other Premier League clubs this summer.

Mbeumo has shared his love for Everton fans already after hailing Goodison Park as one of the best stadiums to play at.

Everton would be breaking their transfer record if they were to move for Mbeumo, but he is a player who could really bring the quality to the new stadium.

Mbeumo would be a huge Harrison upgrade

Harrison was criticised by Everton fans after he was only able to return one goal over the course of the 2024/25 campaign.

That simply is not good enough for a team that are aspiring to make major strides under their new owners.

Mbeumo has not endured the same troubles in front of goal as he has shone under Thomas Frank, which has attracted the attention of Manchester United and Newcastle.

Everton are keen to sign a new winger this summer, and Mbeumo could be the player who may be worth breaking the bank for.

Competition is high to land the 25-year-old but he would be a real statement if the Friedkins could land him.
