An eyewitness at the horrifying incident in Liverpool has spoken of what she had seen after a man plowed his car through the streets filled with fans of the football club as they celebrated winning the Premier League title.
Footage shows a black BUV entering the road which had been cordoned off, going on to hit multiple people and forcing its way into a crowd for a few seconds before coming to a stop. Multiple people are said to have been hit by the vehicle, with the man being arrested by Merseyside Police after immediately being detained.
An eyewitness, Natasha Rinaldi, told Sky News: "We saw the parade from my friend's living room by her window. People were having a great time.
"Then we heard some screams, we heard screams. It was so loud. People sounded desperate. Then we looked out the window and we saw that a car had run over people and there was a woman stuck over the car.
"People started rushing to go after the driver and they tried to break the car. Then the police tried to block them, they did everything they could to push people away... We could just hear screams and screams. We were very confused.
"Some of my friends were down there and the car was so near to them. It was a horrible scene."
