It'll likely take at least two or three seasons for the Tennessee Titans to know for sure if they made the right decision taking Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but early signs are looking positive. Ward's talent as a passer is evident on tape, but what's harder to evaluate is the work ethic players will have once they start making NFL money.
So far, the young quarterback has been everything the Titans could've asked for. Even though the team is just on OTAs, Ward has been doing everything he can to get ready for the season, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

“No. 1 overall pick has been as advertised inside Tennessee's building," Fowler said on a recent episode of "SportsCenter," via Bleacher Report. "They knew he was immensely talented, but I was told that they really even had to kick him out of the offensive coaches room at times and that's not hyperbole. They literally had to kick him out because coaches had other things to do at the time. He is hungry for information. So lately it's been him and Will Levis kind of splitting reps, that will probably be the case in OTAs. I expect that to change once Ward starts to take a hold of that job.”
Quarterback is a position that takes a lot of hard work to master. Ward's talent is undeniable, and if he can keep up this level of dedication, it's easy to see him having a long, successful career.
