Despite enduring one of the best campaigns, the New York Giants could make wide receiver Wandale Robinson available for a trade. According to Bleacher Report, the source believes Robinson is one of their best trade assets since he’s heading into a contract year. The wide receiver had a spectacular 2024 campaign, recording a career-high of 93 receptions, 699 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Robinson is in the best position to earn a contract, but will it be the best situation for him to stay in New York is the biggest question.
Head coach Brian Daboll is hoping that there is some type of turnaround this 2025 regular season after signing veteran Russell Wilson and drafting Jaxson Dart. The Giants had one of the worst situations last year with limited quarterback play, so only one can imagine what he can do when he has a solid signal-caller catching the balls from either Wilson or Dart. Robinson will hope that either one of them can step up to the plate and turn this offense around in the right direction, but if that doesn’t happen, it shouldn’t be surprising if the Giants trade Robinson to a playoff roster that might need another wide receiver. While linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux is the prime trade candidate this offseason, no one should sleep on Robinson, who could start receiving interest before the season.
Originally selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Nebraska and Kentucky product began his career off to a slow start and keeps getting better as each season progresses. This is momentum that Robinson wouldn’t want to go to waste, so these two teams could pursue him if he becomes available.

Fixing the Dilemma
Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs endured one of the worst seasons when it came to the offensive pass attack. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t have a great year neither up to his standards, even though they found a way to make it to the Super Bowl a couple of months ago. However, the team was exposed in the big game, and it wasn’t surprising despite them trading for DeAndre Hopkins to provide some stability behind Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy while they were waiting for Marquise Brown to come back from his injury. Worthy and Rice are still the two lockdown wide receiver starters as long as they can stay out of trouble.
However, the future seems bleak for Brown unless he has a surprise turnaround season. No matter what happens, he might either play out his contract and have one of the best seasons or they could trade him if they aren’t using him much. The Chiefs are in the worst position when it comes to Brown because he might not fit the bill anymore if he has an excellent 2025 campaign. With that, they should trade for Robinson for some temporary relief while he’s still on a rookie contract.
Lamar’s New Weapon?
The Baltimore Ravens are just at least one more move from the Super Bowl. The team has dealt with wide receiver issues itself after going through Odell Beckham Jr., Nelson Agholor and Diontae Johnson. All of them are gone, so they need someone long-term other than DeAndre Hopkins to be a keystone athlete to supply Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman in the aerial attack. Robinson doesn’t need to top 1,000 yards, but enough to be another versatile weapon for Lamar Jackson.
