There is simply no denying the fact that certain FC Barcelona players are pivotal to the club’s future. While no single player is ever truly bigger than the club itself, certain players are definitely vital to the team’s overall success. Thankfully, the current Barcelona board understands that.
For that reason, player renewals is something that the club is putting a lot of focus towards. Instead of rushing into signings first without taking care of what they already have, Barcelona are patiently sorting out the pending contractual negotiations before they dive into the transfer market.
Having already reached an agreement with the likes of Raphinha and having officially extended his contract, Barcelona are not looking to stop there. For weeks now, there have been a lot of updates regarding Lamine Yamal’s potential new deal as well.
Lamine Yamal is now set to sign a new deal
Finally, however, there is now a proper date as to when the player will be putting pen to paper. As per the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano himself, the 17-year-old Barcelona winger will be signing his new deal with the club tomorrow and everything has finally been agreed upon by all involved parties.

This has come right after a recent meeting that involved Jorge Mendes and it resulted in the final agreement being sealed today. With all parties now on board and happy with the final agreement, the next big step for Lamine Yamal’s future can be taken.
Barcelona take a massive step with this renewal
As per the information provided by Romano, this new deal will see Lamine Yamal extend his contract with Barcelona until 2031. Thus, the Spanish prodigy will be committing himself to a new six year deal with the club and it should guarantee his continuity for a long time.
Already being praised by top players and even greats of the game, the 17-year-old Barcelona star is truly one of a kind. Undeniably a generational talent and one of the world’s best players already, it was simply a matter of time before Barcelona pushed to get his renewal sorted out.
