Al-Hilal are reportedly willing to bid around £80million for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes this summer.
The Portuguese playmaker has been United's standout performer in a difficult season for the Reds. Fernandes has scored 19 goals and provided 20 assists across all competitions for United in 2024/25.
But the ex-Sporting midfielder has thrown doubt on his future at M16 in the wake of last week's crushing Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. The loss in Bilbao means there will be no European football at Old Trafford for just the second time since 1990.
And reports in The Telegraph claim that Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are interested in securing a deal for United's star player. However, the report claims they want an answer from Fernandes this week over whether he is willing to join them.
United sources recently insisted they had no plans to sell Fernandes, but a huge offer from Al-Hilal might be difficult to turn down.
Speaking at his pre-Aston Villa press conference last week, Reds boss Ruben Amorim was asked about the futures of Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho and said: "I always speak to my players, but the focus now is on the last game.
"I don't know what is going to happen. We have a plan and we prepared for both situations, with Champions League and without. We have an idea what type of squad we want, but now we have to focus on the last game and we will have time address all of those situations."
When asked whether the Europa League final had changed his opinion on some players, Amorim responded: "No, what changes is one less competition, that game in the middle of the week.
"You can manage the squad in a different way, so that rotation of the players, the depth of the squad, that changes completely if you have three or four competitions.
"That changes a little bit the plan, but not the way I look at my players just by looking at the final."
