
Liverpool Supporters Club has declared all its members safe and unharmed following tonight's shocking incident, which saw a car plough into a crowd of spectators.
A spokesperson for the Gibraltar Government has told GBC, all those affected 'are in our thoughts'.
Many Gibraltarians had travelled to the city centre with their families, with some having been in the area moments before the collision.
Number Six said: "The celebration of Liverpool Football Club's Premiership win has been marred by the serious incident on the streets of Liverpool. Gibraltar has long, historic ties with Liverpool and many fans of the eponymous football club that was holding the victory parade today. We join in keeping the people affected and the people of Liverpool in our thoughts today as triumph turned to tragedy"
Prime Minister, Keir Starmer described the scene as "appalling" whilst thanking the emergency services for their quick response.
The UK media has reported that a 53-year-old "white British male" has been arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
