The Golden State Warriors are entering a crucial offseason in which they will try to upgrade their roster around their veteran trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.
Golden State’s season came to an unfortunate end in the second round of the playoffs as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated them in five games, though Curry was sidelined for most of the series due to injury.
Now the Warriors will look to build off their impressive end to the season as they try to compete for a championship next season.

Of course, Golden State has one main area focus that they must fill this summer, which is the center position.
The Warriors have struggled with their starting center position for many years now and fans have been wanting them to trade for one for a while to take the pressure off Green in the paint.
They have been linked to many different centers including both Brook Lopez and Nikola Vucevic, but ClutchPoints’ Jedd Pagaduan recently released a mock trade where Golden State would add an All-Star center from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In his mock trade, Pagaduan has Golden State sending Moses Moody, Gui Santos, Trayce Jackson-Davis and protected 2026 and 2028 first-round picks to Cleveland for Jarrett Allen and Craig Porter Jr.
“But Allen is a 27-year-old double-double machine who will make life easier for the Warriors in the regular season. There will be no need for Draymond Green to be overtaxed in the regular season,” Pagaduan wrote.

This trade would be a costly one for the Warriors as they would send three young players and two first-round picks to Cleveland but there is no doubt that Allen would greatly improve their center position.
The 27-year-old is an elite defender and rebounder and he has also improved a ton on his scoring and playmaking abilities.
Allen would give the Warriors a much-needed center to chase another title next season and Golden State would also keep enough assets to improve their depth as well via trades in the offseason.
