LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Chad Hennings, a former Super Bowl champion with the Dallas Cowboys and an Air Force fighter pilot, is coming to Laredo for a great cause.
The Salvation Army of Laredo’s third annual “Doing the Most Good Dinner” will be held on Tuesday, May 27, featuring Hennings as the speaker.
Organizers, including Major Rogelio Galabeas, explained where the funds will be going and their intended local impact.
“All the money we raise during this fundraiser will stay here in Laredo. It’s to continue helping our community. We help feed those in need. We help people with their clothing, utilities and rental assistance, but all those things are impossible unless we have support,” Galabeas said.
