PSG have looked sharp in recent clashes with Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal—a strong stretch that could make the club more attractive to English players, especially with more Premier League stars eyeing moves abroad.
In January,CaughtOffside reported that PSGwere keeping tabs on Morgan Rogers. His showings against Manchester City, Newcastle, and Brighton are said to have caught the attention of the club’s scouts.
Rogers’ speed, skill on the ball, and creativity have reportedly stood out to PSG. However, Aston Villa havemade it clear they’re not looking to part ways with the winger.
The Independentpreviously noted that Chelsea are also tracking Rogers ahead of the summer window. The 22-year-old is enjoying a breakout Premier League campaign, and interest in him continues to grow.
Villa manager Unai Emery is eager to keep Rogers, but financial pressures tied to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules could force the club to consider a big offer. Rogers is under contract at Villa Parkthrough June 2030.

On Monday, GIVE ME SPORT reported that Chelsea arefeeling confident about their chances of signing Rogers this summer, believing that securing a Champions League spot—while Aston Villa missed out—has given them an edge in the race.
Amid the rumors,TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey believes thatwhile Rogers has drawn interest from Liverpool and other clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. Nonetheless, Baileybelieves that Rogers might turn down a move to Merseyside and choose to stay at Aston Villa instead.
“Liverpool love Morgan Rogers, there’s no getting away from that,” Bailey said. “But it’shighly unlikely that Rogers leaves for more than one reason.Witha lot of these players, the feedback I’m getting from the players’ camps is that they arevery mindful that we’re in a World Cup cycle now.
“So someone like Rogers…if he leaves now, if he goes to Liverpool for instance, then playing devil’s advocate and it doesn’t work out, he’s not going to the World Cup.”
