Despite previous reports pertaining to a critical meeting between the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo, there have still not been any concrete reports about what the future holds for the former back-to-back MVP.
Antetokounmpo has seen his name dragged into trade rumors following Milwaukee's first-round exit in the NBA playoffs, and the Bucks star himself has indicated his willingness to potentially explore the possibility of moving on from the same team that drafted him 12 years ago.
One team that does not seem to have a clear path toward a potential Antetokounmpo pursuit is the Los Angeles Lakers. This is after they went all-in on Luka Doncic earlier this year via a blockbuster trade deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Be that as it may, Antetokounmpo himself recently teased a potential team-up with Doncic, as well as Nikola Jokic and a few other international superstars in the NBA.
On Monday, Antetokounmpo advocated for a major change in the NBA All-Star Game format. According to the eight-time All-NBA forward, it should be a Team USA vs. Team World matchup for the All-Star Game.
"This should be next year All Star Game format!! Must see basketballð¯ð¥" he posted on X on Monday.
In the photo he shared, Antetokounmpo is teamed up with Doncic, Jokic, Victor Wembanyama and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for Team World. There's no denying that this is a formidable lineup that should be able to match up well against Team USA.
The Lakers (and the Denver Nuggets) are far from a likely potential landing spot for Antetokounmpo if he decides to leave the Bucks. However, if his wish comes to fruition, then Antetokounmpo might just get the chance to play alongside Doncic in an upcoming All-Star Game.
