Rafael Nadal's emotional tribute at Roland Garros took a hilarious turn when he recalled an incident between himself and friend & former rival Andy Murray. The Spaniard broke down in tears on Sunday at Court Philippe-Chatrier at Roland Garros, where his footprint was permanently embedded onto the clay. However, in a press conference that followed, the legend recalled a hilarious moment which 'helped' him get back in touch with former British tennis star Andy Murray. While the incident had nothing to do with the sport the two have played for more than 40 years combined, it did have to do with Nadal's favourite football team.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. The Gunners won the first leg 3-0 and the tie by a whopping 5-1 margin. Nadal laughed at how Murray made use of the win to get back in touch with him, making Nadal mistake the same for the Brit's hospitality.
Reading out the messages in question during the press conference, Nadal said, "Hey Rafa, haven't spoken to you in a while. Just checking in to make sure you are okay. It took me like five seconds to realize what I was reading. In the beginning, I said, okay, he's such a nice guy. He's asking how I'm doing. After five seconds… This British sense of humor.”

Andy Murray worked alongside Novak Djokovic as coach for little for little over 5 months, up until the two parted ways in early May. As Djokovic stormed his way to his 100th ATP title, the Serbian shared a hilarious message sent in by his former coach and opponent."He did congratulate me and said that now that you have a proper coach, it's great that you're winning tournaments. I didn't take that as a joke," said the Serbian as he laughed out loud at a press conference.
