Manchester United are looking for a fast start to this summer transfer window and already progress is being made on several fronts.
The future is bright at Old Trafford, and the team could be unrecognisable come August.
Ruben Amorim has promised fans that good days are ahead, and the transfer business Ineos are currently targeting would certainly suggest next season is when we can expect a much better Manchester United.
The signing of Matheus Cunha is a huge upgrade for United, but the recruitment will not end there with additional attacking targets on the agenda for Ruben Amorim’s rebuild. The talent of Cunha is clear, as shown by SofaScore.

It is thought that the Red Devils are favourites to sign Liam Delap but await his final decision with Chelsea thought to be the second club in the running.
However, of all the potential signings that could be made this summer, there is one which stands out and Gary Neville agrees.

Manchester United’s interest in Bryan Mbeumo
In a potential complete overhaul of the frontline, Amorim could also welcome Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo to his squad this summer if recent reports are true.
It is claimed that Mbeumo is considered the replacement for Alejandro Garnacho, a move that would be a cataclysmic improvement on the Argentine and almost certainly hand United one of the league’s best attacks.

Mbeumo has had a brilliant season for Brentford, earning himself team of the season shouts, which Neville agreed with.
Gary Neville named Mbeumo in his Premier League team of the season
Speaking on Sky Sports last week, Neville was tasked with creating his team of the season and in the left wing position he chose Mbeumo.
“I just went for stats,” Neville admitted.
“I think he has the third most goal involvements, and I think what Brentford do is they go a little bit unsung, not everyone respects what they do. They don’t get the mentions of a Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton… what Brentford are doing is special, Wissa and Mbeumo are fantastic, and they’re lit us up over the past few years, and they always deliver.
“What Mbeumo has done this season is special, I think he’s fantastic and someone I would love to have in my team, I’ve gone for him on numbers.”
How many league goals did Bryan Mbeumo score in 2024-25?
During the 2024-25 campaign for Brentford, Mbeumo scored a whopping 20 goals and seven assists. This tally of 27 goal contributions is just three less than the total amount scored or assisted by United’s current forward options.
Amad – 8 goals, 6 assists
Garnacho – 6 goals, 2 assists
Hojlund – 4 goals, 0 assists
Zirkzee – 3 goals, 1 assist
This demonstrates just how big an upgrade it is, particularly on the bottom three with Amad better than his stats show having played wing-back and missed games injured.
It emphasises that United are spot on to sell Garnacho this summer, hopefully it leads to Mbeumo.
