Palmeiras are back in the mix for Nottingham Forest’s Ramón Sosa after failing to sign him in the winter market.
Earlier this month, journalist Diego Firmino stated the winger could be open to a move in the summer window due to his situation at Nottingham Forest.
Nuno Espírito Santo hasn’t utilised the 25-year-old regularly this season and to put it in context, Sosa played 550 minutes from 23 games, including one league start.
Journalist Uriel Iugt took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report Palmeiras are ‘very interested’ in Sosa. He claims the Brazilian club want to sign him for the Club World Cup that will start on June 14th.
According to Iugt, Nottingham Forest are willing to listen to offers but no figures are mentioned.
Palmeiras’ interest in the Paraguay international is also reported in his country. ABC state his move to the Brazilian club is ‘considered feasible’ due to his restricted game time at Nottingham Forest.
The attacker could return to South America by joining Palmeiras, who are eyeing him for the Club World Cup.
According to ABC, Palmeiras have ‘sufficient financial means’ to secure Sosa’s services. In other words, they have the finances to meet the Reds’ request to sign the player.
