**Liverpool are “in active conversations” with Milos Kerkez and his representatives as they look to secure the services of a third transfer target, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.**
Speaking on his [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF9UNvf2f7Q), Romano said that the Reds have made good progress in agreeing a salary with the Bournemouth defender, and they could soon enter club-to-club talks, like they have with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong:
“My information, guys, is that Kerkez already has an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool, so just about some small details to be clarified, and then Liverpool are in contact with Bournemouth.”
“Liverpool are still working on this one, so not only Wirtz, not only Frimpong – also in active conversations for Kerkez; and this week, the conversations will continue to get the deal done.”
The main rival for Kerkez is targeting a different left-back

Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the Hungarian international over the past couple of weeks, but Romano has also confirmed today that Pep Guardiola’s side have made initial enquiries for Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri.
It does suggest that Liverpool have a pretty clear run to secure the signature of Kerkez. Of course, things could change, especially as no official bid has been lodged yet, but all the signs point towards the Cherries fullback making the switch to Anfield.
Signing all three players would be a major investment for Liverpool
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Kerkez’s asking price is reportedly £45m, while Frimpong’s release clause is £30m. Combined with the £100m+ fee required to purchase Wirtz, the Reds’ transfer spending could well reach £175m very soon.
It’s a stark contrast to last summer when Arne Slot’s side spent just £12m to bring in Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
