A leaked email from Liverpool Football Club have reportedly postponed several internal staff celebrations of their Premier League victory after a car crashed into fans during their parade.
The club had organised a series of events for employees celebrate their success, but these have now been postponed as the focus shifts to supporting the victims and those impacted.
During Monday's title procession on Water Street, a vehicle careered into the crowd, resulting in 27 supporters, including four children, being taken to hospital.
Firefighters had to rescue three adults and one child trapped beneath the suspect's car. A 53-year-old "white male" is currently being held by Merseyside Police for questioning. Authorities are not treating the event as an act of terrorism, instead regarding it as an isolated incident.
An internal email obtained by the BBC staff were informed that the club "will continue to offer our full support to the emergency services and local authorities".

It called on employees "to come together at this time to support each other", following the decision to call off Tuesday's planned festivities.
Dave Kitchin from the North West Ambulance Service revealed during a late-night press briefing that 27 individuals had taken to hospital ambulance.
"We can confirm that our teams treated 20 patients at the scene for minor injuries and these did not need hospital treatment. Twenty-seven patients in total were taken to hospital by ambulance and we believe two of those, including one of the children, have sustained serious injuries."

Liverpool's Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram gave an update on Tuesday morning, stating that four people are currently "very ill" in hospital, which doesn't represent an increase in the number of those seriously hurt.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, he said: "We are hoping of course that they pull through. We're in liaison with the police and with the ambulance services. Last night they had two gold command meetings - one was really late in the evening, so this morning I'll get some updates."

Labour leader Keir Starmer also extended his support to the victims with a heartfelt statement.
