Everton are in the market for a striker this summer transfer window.
David Moyes wants to overhaul his attacking ranks ahead of the 2025/26 season, when Everton will be playing their home matches at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The new 52,000-seater stadium will be transformative for the club’s finances, with the Friedkin Group set to earn an extra £40m a year in revenue.
That will give Moyes a much bigger budget to spend in the forthcoming window, and the recruitment team have already identified a striking target.
Though, Arsenal have now opened talks to sign him, too.

Arsenal open talks to sign Everton target Nick Woltemade
Everton are eyeing Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade after his prolific season in the Bundesliga, netting 17 goals in 33 games.
The 23-year-old is on Moyes’ radar as he looks to replace the outgoing Armando Broja and potentially even Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
However, they aren’t alone in their pursuit, as Arsenal have just opened talks to sign Woltemade, according to Caught Offside.

The Gunners are reportedly in contact with Stuttgart over a potential deal and have been told a £37m bid could be enough to strike an agreement.
Napoli, Atletico Madrid, and Moyes’ former club West Ham United are also keeping tabs.
Woltemade likened to Alexander Isak
Woltemade is a towering centre-forward, standing at 6 ft 6, and uses his frame well, but his game is much more than just that.
According to FBref data, the Germany under-21 international ranks in the top four per cent for successful take-ons per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe.
He also sits in the top three per cent for shot-creating actions, evincing his excellent playmaking abilities.
The data suggests Woltemade is of a very similar profile to Newcastle United frontman Alexander Isak and Inter’s Marcus Thuram.
So, if Everton do manage to land his signature, it’d be a real coup.
