Manchester United’s season might have officially concluded at Old Trafford, but the players’ work is far from over.
After wrapping up their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, Ruben Amorim’s men were swiftly on a flight to Asia.
Their post-season tour includes two fixtures — the first against ASEAN All Stars in Kuala Lumpur on 28 May, followed by a clash with the Hong Kong national team two days later.

While the trip comes after a mammoth 60-game season, it’s not just about football.
The Red Devils are set to pocket around £7.8 million from the tour, underlining its commercial significance.
Selected players including Andre Onana, Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot will also visit Mumbai for a sponsor event on 29 May, just before returning home to prepare for international duty.
Amorim has called the trip a “small sacrifice” for a club of United’s size, emphasising the importance of global fan engagement.
But there’s more than just brand-building at stake in Asia — there’s also a trophy.

United are expected to field a strong line-up against the ASEAN All Stars on Wednesday, and should they emerge victorious, they will lift silverware to cap off their demanding season.
Despite being a friendly fixture, Amorim has reportedly told his squad to treat the match with full focus, determined to finish the year with a tangible reward.
The trophy, while not recognised by UEFA or the FA, is symbolic of United’s continued reach and ambition under their new head coach.
After Malaysia, United’s attention shifts to Hong Kong, before their players disperse for Nations League duties.
Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes are set to link up with Portugal, while others will join their respective countries.
Pre-season begins less than two months later, starting with a game against Leeds United in Sweden, followed by a US tour and a final warm-up against Fiorentina at Old Trafford on 9 August.
But first, all eyes are on Kuala Lumpur in Asia — and the chance to lift a rare piece of silverware before the summer break begins.
