The daughter of a man who died in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster has admitted to sensing 'danger' during the Liverpool title parade. A car ploughed into a crowd of people on Water Street just after 6pm (BST), injuring around 50 supporters and leaving four people 'very, very ill in hospital'.
Charelotte Hennessy, whose dad James was one of the 97 Liverpool fans who died in the Hillsborough stadium crush nearly 40 years ago, says she began feeling uneasy about traffic building up behind her, her husband and sons when they gathered near the start of the parade at Allerton Maze.
"I told my husband it was dangerous as there was so much traffic immediately behind where we were stood," she told the BBC. Hennessy added that coaches driving past were 'so close' to the people lining the streets.
