Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira has shown a desire to return to Flamengo, but his €20m asking price is a problem for the Brazilian club.
That’s [according to journalist Jorge Nicola](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFD-M_ybwUo), who report Pereira is very much on Flamengo’s list of options but currently costs too much to get out of Fulham.
The journalist reports that Flamengo are on the hunt for reinforcements and wants at least three to four players added to their squad. These, though, are unlikely to be big signings that cost a lost of money.
This has already seen them pushing several names to one side and Pereira can be considered one of them. He’s a name that ‘appeals’ but the belief is that he would cost at least €20m.
At the moment that is out of reach for Flamengo, whose directors have made it clear that they don’t have the financial capacity for an investment of that size. While recent years have seen them make big signings, such as Carlos Alcaraz, that is not the reality for 2025.
Thus, they are looking at options who will be ‘a little cheaper’ than the Fulham man, despite him making it clear he’d be happy to return.
