Total agreement at club to to sign Rasmus Højlund–Loan + potential obligation for Manchester United player

Over the past few days, Inter Milan’s interest in Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee has been reported repeatedly but the Italian giants are also keen on Rasmus Højlund.

InterLive report on the Dane’s future at Old Trafford and they claim the Nerazzurri’s interest in Hojlund goes back to when he was at Atalanta. It’s believed if it wasn’t for Manchester United, and their ability to pay a higher fee, Inter would have signed the striker at that point.

Now, there is a total approval at the Nerazzurri about a move for Højlund. Simone Inzaghi is a fan of his profile and the Oaktree ownership is convinced about his abilities, despite his struggles for the Red Devils.

His wage demands of around €4m would be within reach of Inter, who would be keen to land the striker on an initial loan with the option to buy, which could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

InterLive’s sources believe Manchester United’s asking price could be lower than is being estimated in the media. That is due to their need to earn money from sales, as they have failed to qualify for European competitions. That appeals to Inter, who still very much believe in Højlund’s abilities.
